Medical Services, Nursing, & Health Care Options

St Francis Woods Supportive Living Facility Residents 03 | St. Francis Woods Our goal at St. Francis Woods is to provide the highest quality health care services for our residents. Our nursing staff is comprised of licensed nurses and certified nurse assistants to ensure the best quality of care. When you become a resident of our community you can rest assured that staff members are present around the clock to assist with medical needs.


We offer help with medication management and/or medication reminders based on need (as assessed by our nurses). We can also assist with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. Our mission is to give our residents the support they need to continue living as independently as possible, for as long as possible.

In-House Restorative Therapy

St. Francis Woods is very proud to be one of the only assisted/supportive living communities in the area to have our own Restorative Therapist on staff! Restorative therapy can help build confidence with abilities such as grip-strength and balance through use of specialized exercise and stretching techniques. Our therapist is available to work one-on-one with individuals who need help rebuilding their strength. We also offer group chair exercises as part of our weekly activities. It is important to us that your loved ones remain confident in their physical abilities.

Home Health Care Services

In some cases, a resident's insurance may provide coverage for Home Health services. These types of services are welcome in our community and are provided by outside home health companies. Their staff members can come into the home to assist with specialized care such as speech, occupational therapy, and nutritional therapy. St. Francis Woods' nursing staff works closely with many local home health agencies with the goal of helping our residents remain as independent as possible.

Care Plan Coordination

St. Francis Woods provides a comprehensive care plan for each resident. Our care plan coordinator works in cooperation with staff in all departments to devise a plan that address the needs, desires, and goals of each individual resident. We strongly encourage family to participate in the resident's care plan meeting if they are able.

Hospice & Palliative Care

If the need should arise, our staff can assist in your search for hospice and/or palliative care. If we are unable to meet you or your loved ones' increasing needs within our community, assistance with transfer to a skilled nursing facility can be provided.
