“If you enjoy nature and have a limited budget, this is definitively a place worth visiting. The backyard is surrounded by mature hardwood trees and an abundance of wildlife. You can sit and watch the wildlife yet be only a short walk from your apartment. Each time I visit this facility, I’m met with smiling staff who’s eager to help. Although this home lacks the glitz and glitter of some of the other higher dollar facilities, it’s clean, very friendly and should be on everyone’s list to visit.”
“It has been preached to me repeatedly in my life that I should not make a rash assumption about situations in which I do not have all the information to back it up. This is where I found myself two and half years ago. At this time, I was determined that St. Francis Woods did not offer the lifestyle that was suited for me. I could not have been more wrong! Thanks to my sons and the marvelous staff here at St. Francis Woods who has allowed me to see the errors of my thinking. Upon moving into my beautiful apartment, I began to witness the multitude of benefits which awaited me. All my meals meet my culinary requirements, and long-lasting friendships which I have been fortunate to form. My family loves to come visit me and is met with enthusiasm from staff and other residents. I have every opportunity to get involved with daily activities not only on-site, but off-site as well. Things on-site consist of; bands, arts and crafts, ladies’ luncheons, church services, bingo while offsite activities include; wine tasting, baseball games, dining, shopping and so much more. I have come to love it here at St. Francis Woods and I was blessed the day I made it my home!”
